From Chrome to your translated chapter
The walkthrough follows one chapter through three places. Here is what happens in each one.
Prepare in Chrome
In the demo, the extension prepares the chapter open in the browser. Use a chapter you are allowed to translate.
Translate on Nayovi
Continue on the Nayovi website, choose your reading language, and start the chapter translation.
Open the Nayovi reader
When the translation is ready, open the result in Nayovi's reader and follow the chapter there.
What chapter preparation needs
Every page, in chapter order
All original page images must be accessible and in the correct order. Missing pages, duplicates, protected access, or an unrecognized reader stop preparation.
Access to the selected chapter
Chrome asks you to allow the chapter's website and, when needed, its image host. Grant only the sites listed for that chapter.
A chapter visible on a website may still block its original image files. Check the preparation result before continuing.
Before preparing a chapter
Know where the chapter goes and what the walkthrough demonstrates.
Choose permitted pages
Use your own work, public-domain pages, official samples, or content you have permission to translate.
Images continue to Nayovi
If you are signed in to Nayovi, the chapter images are uploaded when you continue to Nayovi, before you choose Translate. The privacy policy explains storage and deletion.
Check your reading setup
The video shows a Chrome workflow on a computer and an English-to-French example. It does not demonstrate every website or language pair.

Can I install the Nayovi Chrome extension now?
Nayovi has been submitted for Chrome Web Store review. A verified public installation link is not available on this page yet. You can watch the chapter demo here.
Where do I read the translated chapter?
The extension prepares the chapter in Chrome. Translation continues on the Nayovi website, and the translated chapter opens in the Nayovi reader.
Are chapter images uploaded before I choose Translate?
Yes, when your Nayovi website session is signed in. Continuing to Nayovi uploads the prepared chapter images before you choose Translate. Read the privacy policy for the full details.
What should I use to read on an Android phone?
Use the Nayovi Android app for the phone reading workflow. The Android page has its own walkthrough and a link to the official download.
